Declaration of Generatice AI Use

Authors must disclose any use of generative AI during the preparation of their manuscript at the time of submission. While AI-assisted tools can aid researchers in summarizing literature, generating ideas, identifying research gaps, as well as improving clarity and structure, they must never replace human expertise, critical evaluation, or scientific judgment. Their use should always be accompanied by careful human oversight.

Authors are entirely accountable for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work. This responsibility includes thoroughly checking any AI-generated material, ensuring the manuscript reflects the authors’ own interpretations and insights, and verifying that all references are accurate and not fabricated. The use of generative AI or AI-based tools to create or modify images in submitted manuscripts is strictly prohibited. AI Tools also cannot be credited as authors under any circumstances, as authorship requires human contribution and responsibility.

All tools used—AI-based or otherwise—must be transparently reported. Routine tools for grammar, spelling, or punctuation checking do not require disclosure. If generative AI is employed, authors must include a statement in a dedicated section placed immediately before the references.

The statement about this AI usage declaration is already in Statement Letter.

Please note that, to safeguard author confidentiality and intellectual property, this journal does not currently permit reviewers or editors to use generative AI tools in the peer-review or manuscript evaluation process. This policy may be updated as compliant technologies become available.
