Journal History
Agroindustrial Technology Journal, abbreviated as ATJ, is a scientific journal focusing on research and scientific developments in the field of agroindustrial technology. ATJ was established on December 5, 2017, and has been registered with the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 2598-9480 (online) and 2599-0799 (print). The journal publishes scientific articles covering a broad range of topics related to agroindustrial technology, agroindustrial management, technology, and engineering.
Since its establishment, ATJ has been committed to providing a scientific platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and other stakeholders to disseminate research findings and scientific innovations in the agroindustrial field. ATJ publishes articles twice a year, providing opportunities for the continuous dissemination of research and developments in agroindustrial technology.
In 2022, ATJ achieved an improvement in its national journal accreditation ranking, advancing from SINTA Rank 5 (S5) to SINTA Rank 3 (S3). This achievement reflected the journal's continuous efforts to improve the quality of its editorial management, publication process, and scientific content. ATJ has maintained its SINTA 3 accreditation through Volume 10 Issue 2 (2026).
Starting from the May 2025 issue, ATJ implemented a new language policy by accepting manuscripts written exclusively in English. This policy was introduced as part of the journal's efforts to improve the quality and international visibility of its publications, as well as to encourage broader dissemination of research findings to the international academic community.
In May 2026, ATJ underwent a major improvement in its publication and editorial management system by migrating to a new journal website. The migration was conducted following a security incident involving the previous website (https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/atj/index). Along with the migration, ATJ also undertook a comprehensive improvement of its journal management system, including the revision of the article template, several updates to the Author Guidelines and more detailed changes to the journal's focus and scope. These changes were implemented to strengthen the journal's publication standards, improve the author and reviewer experience, and ensure a more effective and secure editorial process.
Through these continuous developments, ATJ remains committed to maintaining the quality, integrity, and relevance of its publications while supporting the advancement of knowledge and innovation in agroindustrial technology, including management, and engineering.
