Publication Ethics

Agroindustrial Technology Journal (ATJ) is committed to academic integrity, transparency, fairness, and editorial independence. The journal follows recognized publication ethics standards, including relevant guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must submit original work, report research findings accurately, acknowledge all sources, disclose funding and competing interests, and comply with applicable research ethics requirements. Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to another journal.

All listed authors must qualify for authorship, approve the final manuscript, and take responsibility for their contributions.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors must evaluate manuscripts fairly and independently based on scholarly quality, originality, relevance, and validity. They must protect confidential information, manage conflicts of interest, and address credible concerns about research integrity.

Editors must not participate in decisions where their impartiality may be compromised.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and confidential assessments. They must disclose potential conflicts of interest, avoid unauthorized use of unpublished information, and inform the editor of suspected ethical or research-integrity concerns.

Conflict of Interest

Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any actual or potential financial or non-financial competing interests that could influence, or reasonably be perceived to influence, their work or judgment.

Such interests may include employment, funding, consultancy, personal relationships, academic competition, or intellectual property interests.

Authors must disclose relevant competing interests in their manuscript and identify funding sources. Editors and reviewers must inform the journal of relevant conflicts before handling a manuscript.

ATJ will assess disclosed conflicts and take appropriate measures, including reassignment or additional review where necessary. A conflict of interest does not automatically constitute misconduct, but failure to disclose a relevant conflict may require editorial action.

Misconduct and Post-Publication Integrity

ATJ does not tolerate plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, or other practices that undermine research integrity.

Concerns will be assessed fairly and confidentially, and appropriate action may include rejection, correction, an expression of concern, or retraction, depending on the circumstances.

For detailed procedures, please refer to the journal's related policies on plagiarism, misconduct allegations, post-publication discussion, and corrections and retractions.
