Electronic Archiving & Digital Preservation Policy

The Agroindustrial Technology Journal (ATJ) recognizes the importance of long-term digital preservation to ensure that published scientific articles in agroindustrial technology, including management, and engineering studies remain continuously accessible, secure, and permanent for the global academic community.

  1. Digital Archiving Systems : ATJ utilizes automated electronic archiving systems to store and preserve all published metadata and full-text PDF files:
    • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) : Integrated through Open Journal Systems (OJS) to provide decentralized preservation across global network nodes.
    • LOCKSS & CLOCKSS : Digital archiving protocols designed to create permanent and immutable archives for participating libraries and academic institutions.
  1. Institutional & National Repositories : In addition to digital journal networks, ATJ ensures article accessibility through storage in:
    • UNIDA Gontor Repository : Institutional digital repository of Universitas Darussalam Gontor.
    • Indonesia National Library (Perpusnas / Garuda) : National indexing and digital archiving infrastructure for Indonesian scholarly journals.

3. Self-Archiving Rights for Authors Authors publishing with ATJ are permitted and encouraged to self-archive the final published PDF (Publisher's Version) in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu) immediately following online publication.
